Wednesday Night Bible Study will begin February 8 at 7 p.m. It will be led by Rev. William Heaton. The series on “The Holy Spirit/Holiness” will conclude on March 28, skipping Ash Wednesday. Plan to study the Word each Wednesday as we enter the Lenten season.

FEBRUARY 22 ASH WEDNESDAY
Ash Wednesday Soup ‘N Sandwich supper will be held in Fellowship Hall on Wednesday, February 22, at 6:30 P.M. Plan to attend with your family as we begin the Lenten Season. No reservations required! We will be serving a variety of homemade soups, “make your own sandwich,” salad and dessert. You may be contacted to use your talents for this affair.

ACTIVITIES
All church suppers, as well as smaller gatherings in homes, provide extended fellowship opportunities. There is also a church golf league. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and other civic groups also make use of our building. We are proud of our heritage as a community church.
OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE
There are currently three choirs (Adult Handbells, Adult Choir and the Sunday School Choirs) that allow us to praise God through the ministry of music. Our Board of Deacons, Women of Mt. Vernon and Men's Groups, various Youth Groups, Chancel Guild, and many activities all provide avenues for effective discipleship to happen.
Adults and youth alike are serving our community through The Pittsburgh Project, Community Food Bank and other outreach programs.
